I want to share with you one of my favorite SEO tips and techniques to help you with your business, or whatever keywords you may be targeting for any given niche. Any good web designer knows the necessity of building internal links to your other pages of your site. The reason, is two-fold.
First, It allows you to engage your readers to another page of your site. This will decrease your bounce rate, increase your time on site, and gain google trust, because Google will feel this is a highly relevant page.
Second, Whenever you are able to achieve a page 1 ranking, Google oftentimes shows you love by providing a second page 1 listing. This is done by a recognizance by the search engine that their is another internal link. A picture is worth a thousand words:
Now, one other think I want to point out, SEO-wise. The image I just inserted into this page…has been given a name. That name is Greensburg SEO. Now, once google comes through and indexes this page, it will also have an image indexed for that term. Sometimes, once a term becomes prevalent enough, Google Images begin to show on page 1 of Google.
Can you see the craziness to all of this? It is absolutely awesome. This is all white-hat, good naming and linking guidelines.
So, the next time you have a keyword you are targeting, and you want to be deadly with it, try internal linking to another page, or post on your site, so that you can begin occupying 20% of the valuable first page search engine results.
Hope you enjoyed!
